Here is a summary of the Dutch info, as well as specifics for expats.
Treatment methods and practical issues: EMDR/CGT/Mindfulness amongst others. It can take place online, face-to-face, or a combination of both. There is usually availability to maken an appointment within a week. The treatment will be tailor-made for your needs.
(Insurance) coverage or refund: This is not covered by Dutch insurance (since I'm a NIP-psychologist and not GZ-psychologist), however it is often covered by international insurances, and sometimes your employer will pay part or all. Also, in case of treatment due to injury/accident etc., this often is covered via the lawyer by insurance/or that of the other party involved, as part of the medical recovery costs. If you have many medical costs you could at a certain level also deduct them from your overall yearly taxes (see the government tax website or a tax-advisor for this).
Fees and annulment: The fee for a regular (45 contact minutes) session is 105 euro; or in case the ENTIRE treatment is online: 95 euro (10 euro reduction). Also in some cases of low income I could give this same reduction. Annulment or moving the session needs to be made no later than 24 hours prior to the appointment, otherwise a No Show would cost you 70 euro.
As an alternative can always move a session online (video or telephone) if you cannot make it (or make it on time) for certain reasons. You can ask me this (per mail) up to an hour in advance. (If you are sick, best to cancel the session ASAP, or have it online).
Working hours are Monday through Thursday 9.00 AM till 8 PM.

In an intake session (or a short telephone orientation or via the mail) you can ask any questions you have.
The intake (=1st session) is to establish in a deep-interview what brings you to look for help- what are your problems, wishes and needs, and to see whether and what kind of treatment would be required. It is also to see whether we have a good feeling about each other, one in which you feel trusted, understood and secure with me, in order to go on with the treatment. We will hopefully come to an agreement on which possibility/possibilities we are going to work with, the right order, frequency and estimated number of sessions. Any questions you have, feel free to ask. A pen and paper may be handy for noting things down, also later in sessions in which I may give 'homework', although I always have a pen and paper available for you, and I often send a form via the mail. Treatment requires motivation and effort, and I see it as a co-working experience in which we both work at your recovery and both have equal 'shares' in it. It's a true partnership, I have my knowledge but stand by as you (or sometimes we) do the work, and I trust you too to know and feel what best works for you.
